"I've spent a day and half testing in the
changeable weather at Silverstone and we have done a few things in preparation
for the Canadian Grand Prix. The Circuit Gilles Villeneuve at Montreal is one of
the F1 circuits that I have never been to, and I am looking forward to racing
there."
プラクティスレポート
"It was difficult
day for me. I had a late start due to trouble with our initial set-up which took
nearly 10 minutes to fix. Then we had problems with the electrical systems which
spoilt my first session although we were able to carry out back-to-back brake
tests for the race, which gave us some positive data. The afternoon was okay
until we put on a new set of tyres, which created more set-up work and
unfortunately we have not yet got the perfect balance. Finally, ten minutes
before the end of the session, my exhaust pipe broke and put a stop to any more
timed laps."
クォリファイレポート
"Of course I'm
disappointed because I could have got a better position than this. I was going
well on my second run as we had improved the set-up and at the stage when my
engine failed I was only three tenths behind Giancarlo and in P9. I had to run
back to the pit lane to get in the T-car but it had a slightly different set-up.
We made changes, ready for a final run, but it started to rain and I had no time
to better my fastest lap."
レースレポート
"I'm
pleased to bring the car home and I would like to congratulate Giancarlo on
scoring two points. I had a difficult start, losing a position at the first
corner but later I really enjoyed overtaking the BAR and the Jaguar. We took the
opportunity to pit when the safety car came out, but my second set of tyres
didn't behave quite the same as the first set and I lost almost a second a lap,
struggling with oversteer. The last stint was okay and I was in good shape to
push very hard. It's reassuring to know that we have consistent reliability and
now I'm looking forward because although tenth isn't bad, I hope to score points
soon."
