○2004年第7戦ヨーロッパGP
プレビュー
"The Nurburgring is where I had my European
racing debut in Formula Opel, so I have lots of good memories of the circuit.
This is a great track for me, with some high-speed technical corners and I like
the way the track goes up and down hill. The Monaco GP was very disappointing
for me personally but we know that our pace and performance are at a very high
level, so I am very much looking forward to returning to the Nurburgring this
weekend."
プラクティスレポート
"We struggled a
little to achieve the right balance today so we need to work on that for
tomorrow. But we do not foresee any problems and will be spending a lot of time
looking at tyre data from today's runs with all three cars. I hope that the
track will improve tomorrow because we were struggling for grip throughout the
day today. Overall I'm feeling quite positive about the weekend
ahead."
クォリファイレポート
"Qualifying on the
front row of the grid is a fantastic result. I'm so excited! Qualifying third in
Spain was a great moment but I just wanted to keep improving from there and this
is the next step. I'm thrilled with my lap because it felt very clean. The track
has been changing a lot but for me the conditions were similar to my pre-
qualifying run so I knew that I had a good lap in my grasp. Michael's lap was
stunning but I didn't let it affect me. I just got on with the job and
everything went well. Today's result is special in many ways and as everyone is
pointing out, this is the first time I've qualified on the front row of the grid
and that is fantastic for me. I really hope I can turn this into a strong podium
finish in the race but I will focus on enjoying today for now."

"I am extremely disappointed, ending the way I
did with engine failure. Today the car was very strong and although I lost my
position at the start, I regained it again at turn one. Throughout the race I
was fighting all the time, and when I came out of my last pit stop on new tyres
I had a lot of grip and felt confident that I could challenge Rubens in the
Ferrari, but I saw the opportunity to get past Rubens but unfortunately we
touched. At least I had a strong race, the pace of the car was good and it could
have been a very good result for me. Now we have to look forward. I am expecting
a good test at Silverstone and am looking forward to Montreal and Indianapolis."
