"Obviously Suzuka is my own home race, but I
now live in England and this is my second home. I want to do well in front of
the team and its many British fans and I hope I have the car to deliver a good
result next Sunday. The British Grand Prix is one of the most exciting in my
opinion. I also have very fond memories of the circuit from my Junior and
Formula 3 days, so I am always very excited to head back there. It's a shame
that we had a slightly disappointing result at the French Grand Prix, however I
am still confident from our performance in Indy. Historically, Silverstone is
always an exciting race, especially with the unpredictable weather, so it could
be very exciting."
プラクティスレポート
"We hoped
we would be stronger here today after the positive tests we had earlier in the
season. The car isn't performing as well as we'd hoped and we have a lot more
work to do to be more competitive for qualifying and the race, as we are looking
for a podium finish here. We didn't complete the full tyre evaluation but
hopefully there is enough data between the three of us to confirm our choice for
tomorrow."
クォリファイレポート
"I feel that we
have a good strategy for tomorrow so I'm reasonably happy with my lap time.
Everybody was gambling with the weather in pre-qualifying and we were hoping
that it would pay off in the final run. Silverstone is a circuit where I have
many memories from my Junior Formula days, so I would really like to have a
strong race tomorrow. However, the changeable weather will make for an
interesting race and of course we hope that we can make the best of our strategy
in front of the team's home crowd."
レースレポート
"It's been a tough race today and a tough
weekend generally. We are obviously very disappointed that we were unable to
achieve our targets for this race, especially in front of all of the team's
British fans. It was a risk to choose different strategies for the two cars but
we thought it would provide us with an opportunity to react to any change in the
weather. Unfortunately our two-stop strategy didn't work in the way that we
anticipated. On the positive side however, the car stayed reliable throughout
the race, which is a small step forward from the problems I have experienced
this season. We have to put this weekend behind us now and focus on what we can
do at next week's Jerez test to improve for Germany and the rest of the season."
